I used these today when an activity got canceled. We not only kept folks interested but had people humming, singing and nodding and making comments about what they remembered. It was great!

This DVD is more than just an educational documentary on the 40's. In addition to the documentary, there are interviews and slide shows of postcards and scenes from the 40's with a narrative that elaborates on the pictures. This part of the DVD set was great for playing for my residents during lunch or in the background of a coffee social as an ambient background film. We are looking forward to new DVDs that cover other decades!
