Comments about Prayer Pillow Craft Kit (makes 12):

This was a great project. I did it with my 9 yr old, he needed a little direction to get started but then very little instruction form there. Just a few helpful hints, there was not enough string for all 12 pillows, I was short string for 2, I was able to use yarn and it worked just fine. The glue provided works but you have to use a little more because it seems to absorb into the felt. I did experiment with tacky glue and it worked the same way. A few of the felt pieces had sticky stuff on the back but we went ahead and glued them anyway. Also, the directions say to put something heavy on top of it to hold glued items in place while the glue dries...this is pretty much a must. Also, It does take a little longer than 45 minutes to complete.
