These tiles are the next best thing to colored glass, and very affordable. Tiles are luminous when glued onto clear glass that lets light through. Kids and adults love these. Pieces are lightweight and somewhat thin for adult hands. I love the stained glass window effect of these tiles surrounded with black grout.

These tiles are great for mosaics and are safe for elementary age children to use. They could easily choke a younger child so I wouldn't use them with preschoolers. The colors were great and they were easy to use!

we used these to make mosaic crosses. they were perfect for our younger kids. I only wish they were available in solid colors instead of translucent.
