Every summer I use these frames for our Vacation Bible School group photos. I really like the frame, especially because it has a backing for the photo. They are cardboard but I don't consider them that flimsy. They hold a standard size photo. We have the children (ages 3 - 12) decorate their own frame. They can draw, paint, glue, etc. (I do supplement the "collage" materials with items that reflect our VBS theme.) We make these frames the day before the children take them home so the glue has a chance to dry overnight.

We used this project in a Senior Living environment. The frame cardboard product was very flimsy and the cardboard bent too easily, and did not hold it's shape. I ended up discarding all (24) cardboard frames, and purchased light wooden frames for the same price. The supplies that were provided to decorate the frame were too small and not enough. The glue did not work well, especially the glue pens. Overall I would not ever buy this product again. In the catalogue it looked much better than in person.
