I used the partner straps for my 3-Legged Racing competition and it was great. It was easy to put on the children and just as easy to take off. It stretched well and was much more effective than what we used to use.

I bought these for field day and they all broke before the end of the day. I had a teacher running the center so I know they were not misused.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The velcro seems tough to pull apart but does. They need to be made for small ankles because sometimes the foot just slips out. Would be good for field days.
