This item ships directly from the supplier via truck. The customer is responsible for off-loading the item from a truck. Liftgate and Inside Delivery Services are NOT AVAILABLE on this item. The customer must have a fork lift to remove.
Frame - The base is fabricated from 16-guage sheet steel and coated with a durable black powder coated finish. The support post is heavy-wall 4" square tubing with an inner post that can be raised or lowered with a crank system for easy rim height adjustment from 7'2" to 10'. At 10' the backboard extends out 5'2" from the base to provide a large safe area of play under the rim and backboard.
Ballast - The weight of the goal support is 385 pounds. In use the total weight of the unit, including the minimum of 350 pounds of ballast that must be added before use is 735 pounds. Recommended ballast material includes sandbags, bricks, patio blocks, and steel weights. Ballast material is not included with this unit.
Wheels - Each unit has 5" diameter wheels on the rear and 4" diameter swivel casters on the front. Front casters can be raised and lowered with a crank system for easy movement of the unit. All wheels have a non-marring polyurethane surface.
Padding - The front of the ach unit is padded with 2" foam covered by heavy duty vinyl.
Backboard and Goal - The system includes a performance 34" x 54" clear glass backboard with an aluminum frame and a standard goal.
