Comments about Melissa & Doug® Jumbo Cardboard Blocks (box of 24):

These are the classic cardboard blocks that I remember playing with as a kid. Now my kids get to enjoy them too. Instructions are well written and diagrammed on how to assemble them (they come packed flat), but they do take a long time to put together (plan a half hour or so for assembly). They are durable enough that my 2yr old can stand on them without crushing them, although I don't recommend it.
