We purchased this for our alzheimer's/dementia unit for the residents to have activity for their motor skills but the magnets are not strong enough. You can not build things real easy because they come apart and if you pick up more than two pieces they fall apart bouncing onto the floor. These may work better with children. I'm not sure.
