Purchased these for 3rd grade Math day at our school. The kids loved the relay game that we played with them. I can see these being used in many ways to integrate acadmeics with p.e. These would be terrific with younger children too. They do get dirty from being outside and the rain, but they are very thick, large pieces so they will stand up to lots of use in my classroom. The guide was helpful, i blew up the tangram pictures and laminated them for use in the class.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
