This board can be enjoyed as is or as a craft project limited only by your imagination and creativity. Sand it, mask the areas, apply acrylic paints of your color choice, embellish with additional decorations as tattoos, chinese characters, stenclis, etc. Four coats of water based polyurethane spray and you have a stunning object that can be displayed at home when not in use. Of course everyone will be pleased at how easy it is to move those large pegs from one end of the board to the destination base.

What is fantastic is that one can play chinese checkers with one opponent with three triangles per each player. This causes more strategy initiative, and is quite entertaining. The jumbo board is really fun. The pegs are nice. This is great for all ages and levels of play, and probably great for parties too.

The one thing I feel would improve this board would be some target color-coding. I found some cute animal stickers to match each set of pieces. This was helpful for my elderly mother.
