In our after school program curriculum, one of the crafts was to buy light switch covers and paint them with glow-in-the-dark paint. So when I saw this craft kit, I thought, "oh, how convenient!" In my excitement, I probably failed to read or recognize that really the switch covers are just pieces or pre-cut paper. I assume that you just tape or glue it onto your existing light switch cover. However, the kids still enjoyed it (k-5th grades). Those that used a lot of paint ended up with curled projects, so i would encourage kids to use the paint sparingly. I also bought an extra glow-in-the-dark paint set to supplement it in case I didn't have enough paint. I did have to use it, and we only have 15 kids. I'm not sure how you regulate those little bottles of paint for 24 kids =/ Oh, and the only paint that glows in the dark is the "glow-in-the-dark" paint. The other colors have to be painted over if you want it to glow. In summary... PROS: - the kids had fun - the pre-cut switch covers are a cheaper alternative to buying actual switch covers. - plenty of pain brushes (24) CONS: - the switch-covers are made of card-stock, so lots of paint makes it curl. - not a lot of paint for 24 individual projects - only one color glows in the dark - the table-covering was small - it would have been nice if there was a pattern to help cut covers for the flat light switches. I had to go buy one to cut it out.
