I bought these for a dodge ball game during a birthday party in a park. No tears and everyone had fun. Now my children use them in the basement. They are soft, so I don't have to worry about them being thrown around in an enclosed area.

I use the Gatorskins with some behaviorally challenged youth. They are soft enough that they don't hurt each other, and tough enough to take the abuse. They can now play dodgeball safely and successfully.
