We used this for glow hockey, in a room lit with black lights, pool noodles wrapped in glow sticks for hockey sticks, and a portable goal wrapped in glow sticks as well! The ball glowed very well, but I actually had two. One sitting under a black light "charging" and the other in use. Perfect.

We used these for glow in the dark dodgeball, blacking out our gym windows, etc. They didn't glow that well; we returned them and just bought white gator skins for less $ and the same effect of simply being more visible in very low light

We use these every week for some intense indoor dodgeball. If people don't kick them or use them elsewhere, we can get a couple of years out of a pack of 6. They're the best dodgeballs you'll find on the market, hands down. Just take care of them so they don't rip, can be pricey to replace.
