I use the product in P.E. class when the class is broken into stations. The students must follow multiple step directions to get the foxtail to really fly. My students K-3 can handle the foxtail, and due to it's softness they can catch it too.

Great fun but be mindful of where you play. Item will wear out quickly if played on black top. Easily fixed with a little duct tape to make it last longer.
