We bought these to give as motivational prizes for our students. The wheels are not spiky. Each car comes in an individual box. All of the cars we got were red on one side and blue on the other.

The cars delivered are not the same as those pictured. The new flip cars have plastic spikes on the wheels which can be painful for small hands when playing. The new type are also not as durable as those pictured. Within a few days the two sides seperated and exposed the workings in the center.
