This piece was one of my favorites for my party. It is easy to poke into the ceiling. I find the way it reflects the sun in silver and gold is really eye-catching and I love it! I haven't taken it down since the party because it's not too flashy or anything. I find it a good addition to my living room. I just dislike the fact that the stars are stapled onto the strips of plastic but you don't really notice it unless you look closely.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
