This looked like it was going to be a cool craft for older grade schoolers, but when I sat down to make a sample I realized it would not work for our 30 min. craft time. You have to fold tabs and glue particular things, allow it to dry, glue something else, allow it to dry, etc. before completing. This would have taken a whole afternoon, off and on, to complete.

These periscopes look great when finished. However, using glue or glue sticks is a bad idea because kids become very impatient while it dries. The die-cut form does not include one vital score-mark for folding.

Unfortunately, the product was disappointing. The cardboard is not very sturdy, and tears easy. The assembled product was flimsy.
