Loopers come in all shades of colors and sizes. It is a great assortment, however the loopers do not seem to be the same material and quality. Some of them are streched out and faded, but giving that it is a 12lb box, you are sure to find enough good ones to create colorful artwork, and potholders which is what I use them for.

The color selection was limited: primary colors....red, yellow, blue, green, white...a small amount of "stray" colors and almost no black. There was very little color variation within each color group. Overall, the percentage of NON-cotton is VERY high and a fairly high percentage of loops were very skinny and not actually suitable for a potholder. Then some loops were too thick, too short or too long and stretchy, so by the time it's all said and done, figure on 70% of what you're buying is usable. The potholders these loops make tend to be a little stiff and "knobby". Why is it so hard to get cotton??

Quality it great, most loops are same size. Color variety could be expanded. Sometimes the loops are not cotton, some nylon ones are mixed in-this makes the weavings come out different sizes, or lumpy. I used these when I taught art--even boys love to weave!
