This product is enjoyed the most by students we visit. It's easy and fun to do. The only drawback is cardboard should be cut apart. We have to take time to cut each piece of cardboard which is time consuming.

We did this for Vacation Bible School. I wanted to do something different with the children. We used larger nails than the ones provided to make it easier to work with. We added magnets to the back so that it could be displayed on the refrigerator. Better for older children.

Some copper pieces were bent or discolored. It only comes with 4 pattern pictures (and 40 pieces of copper) so you need to make photocopies ahead of time. I did this project with 3rd-5th graders and we did not need hammers (you don't need to poke through the copper, just a little pressure leaves a nice dent). They were able to complete the project in about 15 minutes. It was easy to do, no adult help was needed. The girls (and parents) enjoyed the finished product.
