Sturdy, high quality brushes. It's WAY thicker than I would have imagined it was though, so it only works well for painting large swaths of scenery.

Every wooden handle fell off these brushes. As another reviewer noted, they are inexpensive...but so is decent glue. There is no reason that I should have to glue brushes together to use them.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

As another reviewer noted, the glue that attaches the metal ferrule to the wooden handle does not hold. Some of the ferrules fell right off the handles the first time I took the brushes out of the bag. All the others pulled right off with a gentle tug. I solved the problem by driving very small carpet tacks into the sides of the ferrules, permanently attaching them to the handles. Bear in mind that these are very inexpensive brushes.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
